Limited Warranty for labor and repairs
Paid on-site labor is warranted for 90-days after completion of work. Failure of parts purchased from E Logix and installed by us within 30-days from the date of the original service invoice will be replaced and installed by us free of charge. After 30-days the manufacturer’s warranty applies. We will accomplish your warranty repairs or replacement at the place we originally accomplished the work, if you request us to do so. You must request warranty service before the expiration of this warranty. Failed parts must be returned to us not-later-than 30-days from the date of the original invoice to qualify for in-house replacement. Parts warranties after the first 30-days must be handled with the manufacturer directly.
Limited Warranty for in-shop labor and repairs
Paid in-shop repairs and parts installations are warranted for 30-days after completion of work. Failure of parts purchased from us and installed by E Logix within 30-days from the date of the original service invoice will be replaced and installed by us free of charge. After 30-days the manufacturer’s warranty applies. You are required to present the item, part or computer system to us at our regular place of business for any warranty service or replacement. You must request warranty service before the expiration of this warranty. Failed parts must be returned to us not-later-than 30-days from the date of the original invoice to qualify for in-house replacement. Parts warranties after the first 30-days must be handled with the manufacturer directly.
What is covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty covers defects in workmanship in your E Logix IT-provided service only for a period of 45-days.
What is not covered by this limited warranty?
This limited warranty expressly DOES NOT cover:
Any Software installation, including the operating system and software added to or substantially changed since we provided the original service or labor.
Problems that result from:
External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, or problems with electrical power or telephone systems.
Servicing not authorized or provided by us.
Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions.
Failure to follow the product instructions or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
Problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by us.
Labor or services for which we have not received payment (except those accounts on time payment plans that are current).
Parts received after 30-days from your original labor invoice.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). E LOGIX IT'S RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD REFLECTED ON YOUR PACKING SLIP OR INVOICE. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD HAS EXPIRED. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. WE DO NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY BEYOND THE REMEDIES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY LIABILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY CLAIMS AGAINST YOU FOR DAMAGES, FOR PRODUCTS NOT BEING AVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST DATA OR LOST SOFTWARE. OUR LIABILITY WILL BE NO MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT THAT IS THE SUBJECT OF A CLAIM. THIS IS THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT FOR WHICH WE ARE RESPONSIBLE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
How long does this limited warranty last?
This labor limited warranty lasts for 90-days from the date of original repair. The warranty period is not extended if we re-accomplish the repair. E Logix IT may change the availability of limited warranties, at its discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.
What do I do if I need warranty service?
Before the warranty expires, please call us at 704-644-1465. You will be required to give the name of the purchaser and date of purchase at this time. Please have your invoice copy handy.
What will E Logix IT do?
During the first 45-days of all limited warranties: During the first 45-days of this limited warranty, we will re-accomplish any E Logix IT-provided labor actions that prove to be defective in workmanship including labor (If the original service was accomplished on-site, we will accomplish any warranty repairs at the location where the service was originally provided, if requested to do so. If the original job was accomplished in-shop, we will accomplish any warranty repairs at our business location. If we are unable to repair the product we will refund your paid labor charges. If we determine that the problem is not covered under this warranty, we will notify you and inform you of service alternatives that are available to you on a fee basis.
Note: Before you deliver the product to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive and any other storage device in the product. Remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information, REMOVE THE ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD FROM THE SYSTEM, removable media, such as floppy disks, CDs, or PC Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media.
What if I purchased a service contract?
If you are on an active service contract with E Logix IT, service will be provided to you under the terms of the service agreement. Please call us at 704-644-1465 to arrange for a service technician to assist you.
Is my limited warranty transferable?
E Logix IT Limited warranties on labor are not transferable. You may be required to produce the original invoice when requesting service under this warranty.
